| Wow...I haven't touched this page in 2 months! So much for trying to stay on top of things. OK, so after my last post, I finished my exams, went back to Memphis for Jen's bridal shower, and started work. Work is amazing - all those years of writing memos finally paid off. Thanks Harris School! Just kidding...really, work is all research and writing up memos summarizing your research. It's like school - except you get paid to do it. Not bad, eh? I've been biking to work everyday, but you can't really tell from my waist line - but that's because we get fed fancy meals every day! I wonder what I would look like if I didn't bike...hmm, let's not think about that. Let's see, what else is going on. Oh, I made Law Review! Woo hoo! For you non-law peeps, that means I get to spend the rest of my law school career editing other people's papers and checking their citations - and they call that prestigious. Oh well, at least now I'm eligible to be a clerk for a judge...someday. Alrighty, tomorrow's the fourth of July, which means tonight I get to go out with my gals! | | |
| 2 more exams stand between me and the end of my first year of law school! Yippee! Except then I have to go through petitioning for journal...sigh.  And it rained today so I didn't even get to try to bike the 4 miles to school. ARGH! And it's pretty much going to rain all week - matches my attitude toward school right now!

| Despite taking one of the SCARIEST exams ever, I had a pretty good evening! Since there was no way my brain was going to be able to soak in anymore information, C and I went to go buy bikes and we rode them home. It's nice to have a bike again! But stupid me, I remembered the move the bike lock and the seat pad up here, but I'm missing my HELMET! ARGH!
While at Target buying the bikes, we also bought Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle cuz why not watch some awesome comedy while our brains are fried? And so we HAD to go get White Castle and watch the movie so that we weren't craving White Castle later...hee hee. 
Anyhoo, I had no idea the creepy peeing bush guy was Jamie Kennedy, or that the guy who plays Freakshow (the guy with all the boils on his head) was Christopher Meloni (Law and Order SVU anyone???). Awesome!
So yep, all in all a good day, minus the 3 hours I spent in stress inducing, carpal tunnel producing, GPA reducing horror.

| It's 82 degrees outside - probably the warmest it's been all year, and where am I? Stuck inside the library studying for exams! ARGH! This is what happens to law students tormented by civil procedure....

| Take me out to the ball game.... It's Opening Day of baseball, which normally wouldn't matter to me much, EXCEPT that the library will be giving out hot dogs and beer in celebration of Opening Day.  Maybe I shouldn't be eating too many hot dogs though, cuz I still need to get ready to run the Race for Justice 5K - eeeek!
